First of all — yes, you read that right. You (or a rep from your company) can ride a real hovercraft that YOU helped bring to life. Pretty legendary, right?

But before you start dreaming of hover-glory, here are a few important details to know:

Tour Date Only:
The hovercraft ride must be scheduled during an already planned school tour date. Rides cannot be arranged outside of our official tour schedule.

30 Days' Notice Required:
We require at least 30 days’ notice to coordinate your visit. This is to ensure we meet school safety protocols and secure visitor clearance in advance.

Travel Not Included:
The Hovercraft Project is not responsible for any travel costs or accommodations associated with attending a tour date. All travel arrangements and costs are the responsibility of the sponsor.

You Schedule, We Assist:
Scheduling your visit is ultimately your responsibility, and we’ll do our best to help match you to an available tour stop. Without proper coordination and communication in advance, your hovercraft ride perk may not be fulfilled.

Liability Notice:
Participation in the hovercraft ride is voluntary and at your own risk. The Hovercraft Project is not liable for any injury, mishap, or unforgettable moments that may occur during your visit.

School-Appropriate Behavior & Attire:
Our tour takes place in educational environments, so all visitors are expected to uphold respectful, age-appropriate conduct and attire during their visit.

Rare but Important: Tour Date Cancellations
In rare cases, tour dates may be rescheduled or cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control — such as school closures, weather events, or site-related changes. While we’ll always notify you as early as possible, The Hovercraft Project is not responsible or liable — legally, financially, or otherwise — for any impact a change or cancellation may cause. We appreciate your flexibility and understanding if that unlikely situation arises.
